Award Ceremony: Honoring outstanding students and assisting the staff families

The Ministry of Information held an award ceremony on Friday to honor children of staff who passed the 2024–2025 matriculation exam.

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, senior officials, students, and their families attended. The ceremony featured student performances, a speech from the Union Minister, and awarding of certificates and cash prizes. Awards were presented to 3 students with 5 distinctions, 5 students with 4 distinctions, 7 students with 3 distinctions, 2 students with 2 distinctions, 10 students with 1 distinction, and 73 students passed without distinctions. Over 10.65 million kyats in total cash prize were awarded.

Later, the Union Minister and party visited ministry staff and families living in temporary container housing due to earthquake damage. He encouraged disciplined, hygienic living and unity, and provided cash assistance for children in those families.
