Meetings in Nay Pyi Taw: Discussions for tourism and agricultural development

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo chaired the Nay Pyi Taw Regional Tourism Committee meeting on July 31. Discussions focused on promoting heritage and local attractions, improving hospitality services, and increasing visibility of cultural festivals and rural tourism through media and promotions.

The chairman urged committee members to collaborate across sectors and ensure tourist safety while boosting local economies through tourism.

In a separate meeting of the Nay Pyi Taw Agricultural Supervisory Committee, the Council Chairman discussed seasonal crop strategies, irrigation system upgrades, and mechanization. He also emphasized on increasing yield, proper land and water management, and using modern techniques to enhance productivity. Officials provided sectoral updates and discussed for integrated efforts for better agricultural output.
