Illegal Trade Eradicating : Steering Committee held its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

Illegal Trade Eradicating Steering Committee held its meeting at the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday. 

Committee Chairman, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win attended the meeting and made a speech, highlighting the effective measures to eradicate the illegal trade activities while striving to achieve balances in normal trade and border trade as well as the import/export volumes.

The Vice Senior General called for systematic supervision of illegal trading activities in order to prevent from losing taxation to the state. Attendees reported on work undertakings, assessment on illegal trade activities, efforts for boosting export, confiscation of illegal goods and taking action against the suspects as well as the prevention measures for illegal trade and trade relations with the neighbouring countries.
