Efforts for Kachin State : CM provides cash assistance, makes inspections

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan met with governmental officials, ethnic literature and cultural groups, and social welfare organizations at the Town Hall in Hopin on Monday. There, the Chief Minister urged all to work together with the government for peace, stability, and rule of law in the state.

He also fulfilled the needs for local development and requirements for agricultural work. Also, the Chief Minister and officials provided 6.5 million Kyats in support to the respective organizations. In Hnon Cho Village, they provided organic fertilizers and vegetable seeds to farmers and growers, and 5 million Kyats for the Ywar Thit Gyi Village Basic Education School before observing a demonstration in a rain-fed paddy field.

The Chief Minister also inspected oil mills being expanded in Takkwin တကွင်း Village, funded by the State Economic Promotion Fund. In Inle အင်းလေး Village Tract, he addressed the needs for agricultural work, including production roads and provided foliar fertilizer and seeds to farmers.

At the Post-Primary School in the village, the Chief Minister stressed upgrading of the school from a primary to a post-primary level, the ongoing efforts to fully complete the construction of a new extended school building and the extension of electricity to homes. There, he also provided 7.5 million Kyats for the establishment of a solar water pumping system for the training school for development of nationalities youth from border areas.
