Inspection tour: MoEA UM conducted inspection tour

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs, Khun Thant Zaw Htoo, accompanied by officials, inspected the operations of the Ayeyarwady Region Director’s Office on the evening of June 25.

First, the Union Minister and officials toured the office, inspecting the ongoing work and providing necessary instructions to the officials. After that, the Union Minister met with the staff serving at the Ayeyarwady Region Director’s Office and delivered a speech.

Following presentations by the directors in charge, the Union Minister coordinated and fulfilled necessary requirements. He also presented cash award to the staff.

On the morning of July 26, Union Minister Khun Thant Zaw Htoo, along with State Administration Council Member Mann Nyein Maung, Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, and State Administration Council Central Advisory Board Leader U Saw Tun Aung Myint, attended and delivered an honorary speech at the Regional-level Wagaung Month Kayin Traditional White Thread Wrist-tying Ceremony held in Kyonpyaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister, accompanied by officials, arrived in Yangon Region. He inspected the Kwayma Staff Housing in South Dagon Township and the Nyaung Thon Pin Staff Housing in Thanlyin Township, where staff from the Union Ethnic Village (Yangon) reside. He inquired about the difficulties and needs faced by the staff in their residences and coordinated to fulfill those requirements.
