Discussion on Strong Community: MOI UM delivered the remarks at the discussion

On 25th July, a discussion on the development of a resilient and strong social community was held in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region with the attendance of Vice-Chairman of the Committee on the Development of a Resilient and Strong Social Community and Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn.

The discussion was also attended by region ministers, officials from the Ministry of Information as well as youths from social organizations and students. First, students from No.1 Basic Education High School staged a song performance “Mingalarbar”. It was followed by screening of video clips titled “Rebuilding a better future after devastating earthquake” and “Youth who will lead the future.”

In his discussion, the Union Minister highlighted the crucial role of regional peace and stability for the development of a strong and resilient social community, emphasizing on unity and kindness toward each other.

The Union Minister also encouraged for the active participation of the relevant individuals in making arrangement to successfully hold the upcoming free and fair multi-party democratic general election.

During the ceremony 10 sets of MRTV DTH and 20 MRTV DVB T2 Set top boxes were provided to the attendees. The discussion was concluded after a stage performance of the students from Lin Lat Kyal Sin Hein Private High School.  In the evening, the Union Minister and party visited BE Falls Nature Amusement Park, cordially met with the officials of the parks and visitors.

In April 2025, many recreation areas and facilities were added to the park including Sky Cable Car, 5D LED Glass Bridge, Elephant performance, photo booths, jumping cloud, family coaster, bumper car, Tea cup and merry go round. Likewise, arrangements are underway to display Dinosaur Fossils exhibition.
