Fiend Inspection Tour: MoALI DM made a field inspection tour in Pyay

The Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, U Bo Bo Kyaw, inspected the operations and agricultural machinery at Industrial Farm Station No. 30 in Pyay, Bago Region (West) on July 24. He then discussed and provided instructions on necessary requirements with the officials.

Afterward, the Deputy Minister met with district-level officials from various departments under the Ministry at a meeting hall of the Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department's maintenance office in Pyay Township.

From there, the Deputy Minister attended a fertilizer support and application ceremony for monsoon paddy seed-producing farmers in Ngar Ywar village tract, Pyay Township. He met with local farmers, discussed their needs, provided them with fertilizer, and observed the ongoing fertilizer application in the fields.

Subsequently, the Deputy Minister visited the Sein Kaba Oo Agricultural Machinery Company and observed the production and installation of sesame seed planters, which can be operated using a bed-making system, and sugarcane planters.

In the evening, Deputy Minister visited the Nawin Dam, which was constructed for flood protection along the Ayeyarwady River in Pyay. He inspected the rising river levels and the flood preparedness measures. He also discussed and instructed officials to manage dam maintenance operations in accordance with the provisions of the Dam Law and to address any technical requirements.
