Opening of New Court Buildings: UCJ officially opened the new court buildings

The Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay, in the morning on July 23rd, attended the opening ceremony of the new Kawthaung District and Township Courts building on Bogyoke Road, Aung Thu Kha Ward, Kawthaung, along with the Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, Region High Court Chief Justice Daw Paik Paik Aye, Region Government ministers, and officials from the regional, District, and township levels.

First, Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, and Taninthayi Region High Court Chief Justice Daw Paik Paik Aye cut the ribbon to officially open the new building. Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay then pressed a button to unveil the Kawthaung District Court and Kawthaung Township Court signboards. Afterwards, the Union Chief Justice and other officials sprinkled scented water on the commemorative plaque.

Next, the second part of the program continued in the meeting hall. Managing Director of Naung Yoe Myanmar Development Company Limited U Tin Soe, provided an explanation regarding the court building and handed over relevant documents to the Chief Justice of the Taninthayi Region High Court.

Following this, Kawthaung District Judge U Chit Ko Ko delivered a speech, expressing "special thanks on behalf of the judiciary to the Union Government and the Taninthayi Region Government for constructing the new District Court and Township Court building in a manner befitting the dignity of the courts, and to Naung Yoe Myanmar Development Company Limited for constructing the new building to standard, and to everyone who assisted in every way to make this ceremony a success."

After the ceremony, Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister, and other officials toured the new building and provided necessary guidance and instructions.
