Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup: U-25 Men’s Futsal Tournament kicked off in Mawlamyine

Mon State Chief Minister’s Cup U-25 Men’s Futsal Tournament among 10 townships kicked off on July 19 at the Mawlamyine University Sports Hall. The tournament aims to promote youth participation in sports and develop the futsal sector in the state.

Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the opening ceremony and emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, and strategy in futsal, and called for continued cooperation to nurture future athletes who can represent Mon State. The opening match was played between Kyaikmaraw and Ye townships. The competition will run for five days from July 19 to 23.
