Public Safety: Landmines cleared on Yangon-Mawlamyine Highway

Security forces safely removed 9 improvised landmines planted by KNLA and PDF terrorist groups near Alu Lay Village, about 7.3 km northwest of Bilin, along the Yangon–Mawlamyine Union Highway between mileposts 120/6 and 120/7. The mines were discovered on the right side of the road and were intended to threaten public safety and disrupt transportation. Security forces continue working with communities to enhance safety and prevent further threats.
