The Joung Wyne Shipyard was first built between 1981 and 1982 and began operations as a dry dock in 1986. Between 1995 and 1999, it successfully handled 49 vessels.
However, operations were later suspended. As the shipyard has been inactive for a long time, there is a risk of further damage. Based on the Prime Minister’s instructions, efforts are now underway to resume and improve its operations.
