Coordination meeting: MGY CM delivered the opening remarks

A coordination meeting (6/2025) between Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and Region level departmental officials was held on June 30, at the City Hall in Magway. The meeting's purpose was to successfully implement economic, social, and regional development projects within the Region.

During the meeting, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin emphasized the agriculture sector for the 2025-2026 monsoon season, it's crucial for relevant departments and district administrative bodies at all levels to oversee efforts to meet or exceed the planned targets for monsoon crop cultivation and achieve the targeted yields for the planted areas. In Shapin Hla Village Tract, relevant departments need to supervise the completion of the systematic farmland development and flood protection projects within the agricultural zone in Shapin Hla Village Tract, Magway Township, within the designated period. Efforts must also be made to ensure that monsoon crops can be planted on time. The Chief Minister further stated that he would like everyone to collectively participate in ensuring the success of projects in the livestock, health, social, and general election sectors.

Following the Chief Minister's address, Magway Region Government Ministers and the Region Advocate General presented and discussed matters related to their respective sectors. The Chief Minister then coordinated and addressed the needs presented by the attending regional-level heads of departments, concluding the meeting with his closing remarks.
