Marking the 2025 World MSME Day, knowledge sharing and discussion on the use of digital technology and MSME Software Showcase exhibition was held at MICT Park in Hlaing Township of Yangon Region.
Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than attended the ceremony through virtual system. The ceremony was inaugurated with the opening speech of Chairman of Myanmar Computer Federation.
In his speech, the Union Minister acknowledged the vital role of MSMEs in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and encouraging innovation. He emphasized that by adopting digital tools and technologies, MSMEs can improve productivity, reduce costs, access wider markets, and strengthen customer engagement.
The ceremony also featured speeches by regional government officials, panel discussions on “Connecting Entrepreneurs for Digital Opportunities”, and product exhibitions. Topics such as cybersecurity, AR/VR, digital platforms, and B2B meetups were also explored during the event.
