Plenary session of EEF 2025: SAC Chairman attended and delivered the speech

The Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attended the Plenary Session of the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) held at the Minsk International Exhibition Center BELEXPO in Minsk, Republic of Belarus in the afternoon on June 26.

The Fourth Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) is being held under the theme "Strategy of the Eurasian Economic Integration: outcomes and prospects." The forum was attended by the President of the Republic of Belarus, who holds the rotating presidency of the EAEU, along with the Presidents of EAEU member states including the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan and the President of Cuba, an EAEU Observer state.

Also present were representatives from invited countries such as Mongolia and the UAE, the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and the Special Envoy of the President of Nicaragua. In addition, government representatives, heavy, medium, and small business owners, and representatives from international organizations interested in Eurasian economic cooperation also attended.

Upon their arrival at the Minsk International Exhibition Center BELEXPO, the Chairman of the SAC and Prime Minister, along with other heads of state, were welcomed by Mr. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of Belarus. Subsequently, the Plenary Session of the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) commenced. Mr. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of Belarus, extended a warm welcome to the attending heads of state. Attendees then took their seats in the Plenary Session Hall, where discussions were held under the theme "Strategy of the Eurasian Economic Integration: outcomes and prospects." The President of the Republic of Belarus, as the rotating chairman of the EAEU, delivered a speech. Following this, speeches were given by the heads of state from EAEU member countries including Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Russian Federation, as well as the President of partner country Cuba, the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and the Special Envoy of the President of Nicaragua.

In his speech, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister stated the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was established in 2015 with the aim of promoting economic cooperation among member states and improving living standards, he wished to state that the forum's theme, "Strategy of the Eurasian Economic Integration: outcomes and prospects," is a timely topic for this fourth forum. He expressed his full confidence that under the leadership of His Excellency the President of Belarus, the Fourth Eurasian Economic Forum will yield positive results, including mutual trust, friendship, and cooperation among countries, Myanmar is also very keen to become a family member of the Eurasian Economic Union.

He earnestly requested their support for Myanmar to quickly become an observer state of the Eurasian Economic Union. After the discussions, the President of Belarus, as the rotating chairman of the EAEU, the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, and other heads of state took a commemorative group photo in front of the world's largest and heaviest-duty mining truck, manufactured in Belarus, which was displayed outside the Minsk International Exhibition Center BELEXPO. Later in the evening, the SAC Chairman, along with the heads of state attending the Fourth Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) from various countries, attended a dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of Belarus.
