Receiving Thai Ambassador: MoNREC UM received Thai Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Khin Maung Yi, received a delegation led by Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, this afternoon at the meeting hall of the Union Minister's Office in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they held frank and open discussions regarding cooperation between the two countries on reducing transboundary haze pollution and other environmental conservation matters. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Min Thu, heads of departments, and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Myanmar.
