Departure for Belarus: Myanmar delegation to attend EEF 2025

Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, departed from Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport, in the morning of June 25, on a special flight.

The delegation is set to attend the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025) in Minsk, at the invitation of Mr. Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus and current Chairman of the EAEU. The Myanmar high-level delegation, led by the SAC Chairman, was seen off at the airport by the SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister, Vice Senior General Soe Win, SAC Secretary General Aung Lin Dwe, SAC members, Union Ministers, senior military officials from the office of Commander-In-Chief, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar and other officials.

Accompanying the SAC Chairman Prime Minister on the trip are the SAC Joint Secretary, General Ye Win Oo, SAC member, General Nyo Saw, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, U Than Swe, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Kan Zaw, senior military officials from the Office of Commander-In-Chief, Deputy Ministers and military and civilian officials.

During the visit, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister will attend the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF 2025), hold a separate meeting with the President of Belarus (current EAEU Chairman), meet with the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board, and visit factories and workshops.

The visit aims to further strengthen friendly relations, economic ties, security, and strategic cooperation in various sectors between the governments and peoples of the two countries, as well as matters concerning economic development with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
