Myanmar-Sri Lanka: SAC member DPM received ambassador of Sri Lanka

Member of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister, and Union Minister for Defence, General Maung Maung Aye, received Mrs. Prabashini Ponnamperuma, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Myanmar, at the reception hall of the Union Minister’s office in Nay Pyi Taw on June 24.

During the meeting, both sides held cordial and open discussions on the current state of defense cooperation between Myanmar and Sri Lanka, ways to further strengthen bilateral diplomatic relations, and opportunities for collaboration across relevant sectors.
