Receiving head of UNOCHA: MoSWRR UM received interim head of UNOCHA

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win, received a delegation led by Ms. Vanessa May, the interim Head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), in the reception hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on June 23.

During the meeting, they openly and cordially exchanged views on various topics included the ongoing collaborative projects between the Ministry and UNOCHA, the state's efforts in earthquake recovery, the status of the prefabricated offices and staff housing donated by the People's Republic of China for the Ministry's use, and the completion of prefabricated school buildings donated by the AHA Centre. They also discussed matters on personnel related to UNOCHA and future cooperation initiatives.
