Event of delivering guidance: MoE UM gave the guidance to educational officials

An event of delivering guidance to the responsible officials from the departments, universities, colleges and Regions and States Education officers was held at Meeting Room No. 13 of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw on June 23rd.

First, the Union Minister Dr. Nyunt Pe delivered opening remarks. He expressed his gratitude to all those who actively participated in the successful coordination of the matriculation examination held from June 16 to 22 in Kachin State, Sagaing Region, Mandalay Region, and the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.

He emphasized that teachers are responsible not only for delivering classroom instruction but also for nurturing good character in students and instilling patriotism and national pride. The Union Minister also addressed the operation of private schools, stating that the hiring of teachers and collection of school fees must strictly adhere to the issued guidelines.

He further instructed that data and statistical accuracy must be thoroughly monitored and ensured. After that, Deputy Ministers Dr. Zaw Myint and U Nay Myo Hlaing spoke on the importance of collaborative efforts to ensure the success of ongoing initiatives being implemented by the Ministry of Education.

Following this, directors-general from various departments and attending participants shared their insights on relevant tasks and responsibilities. The Union Minister concluded the meeting with closing remarks, it’s reported.
