Senior officials training: UCSB Chairman delivered an opening speech

Chairman of Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw, attended and delivered an opening speech at the inauguration ceremony of Senior Officials Training Course No. 20 taken place in the training hall of the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) in the morning on June 23rd.

In his opening remarks, the Chairman emphasized the crucial role of senior officials in implementing government policies for the continuous development of a nation. He stated that these training courses aim to equip officials with the skills to consistently and correctly perform their duties at various levels and sectors, always prioritizing the interests of the State and its citizens. The goal is to foster a civil service organization capable of coordinating tasks with accountability and responsibility.

Senior Officials Training Course No. 20 is being attended by a total of 46 participants (23 men and 23 women). The training period will run from June 23, to August 20, 2025.

Following the ceremony, the Chairman met with officials, heads of academic departments, and faculty members in the Academy's main office meeting room. He reviewed lesson notes and curricula, providing instructions to ensure that the curricula are up-to-date and that reference books are accurately cited. After that, he had lunch with the trainees of No. 71 Basic Training Course for Officers, which is also currently running at the academy.
