Myanmar-Nepal: MDY CM received Nepal ambassador to Myanma

Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung met with Mr. Harishchandra Ghimire, the Ambassador from the Embassy of Nepal in Yangon, at the reception hall of the Mandalay Region Government Office in the morning on June 23rd.

During the meeting, they held a cordial and open discussion on matters related to further enhancing the friendly relations between Myanmar and Nepal, cooperation in religious, educational, health, economic, and social sectors, as well as the ongoing restoration of the Mahamuni Buddha Image and other religious buildings damaged by the Mandalay earthquake.

Alongside the Mandalay Region Chief Minister, region government ministers and other officials also attended the meeting, it’s reported.
