On June 10, President Donald Trump visited Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to mark the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary. During his speech, Trump announced plans to revert the names of seven military bases, including Fort Bragg, to honor Confederate officers.

He also vowed to restore the base's original name, Fort Bragg, in honor of World War II paratrooper Roland L. Bragg, not Confederate General Braxton Bragg. The visit featured a significant military display, including aircraft flyovers, paratrooper drops an, serving as a prelude to a grand military parade scheduled for June 14, in Washington, D.C.

The parade will involve over 6,600 soldiers, tanks, infantry vehicles, and helicopters, and will coincide with President Trump's 79th birthday.
