International AI Summit Opens in Paris

The Grand Palais in Paris has become the focal point for global discussions on artificial intelligence, as political and tech industry leaders gather for the opening of the "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit." 

Over the next two days, key figures from across the world will engage in talks aimed at finding common ground on a transformative technology that holds the potential to reshape global business and society. Co-hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit’s agenda includes mapping AI governance on a global scale, advocating for more ethical, accessible and sustainable AI and promoting European sovereignty over the rapidly advancing technology. 

The summit comes at a time when nations are grappling with the implications of AI in shaping economic and social futures.
