The drill, held at the Regent Hotel in Myeik, aimed to respond quickly to search and rescue operations in the event of natural disasters like earthquakes, particularly in hotels, motels, and guesthouses.

During the drill, the teams simulated an earthquake scenario where the hotel was shaken, followed by the activation of alarms, signaling fires, guiding residents to designated evacuation routes, extinguishing fires at Fire Points, and using rescue equipment to assist trapped or injured individuals. Medical services were provided to classify and prioritize injured victims, including emergency patients, critical patients, and regular patients, for transport to hospitals. Additionally, a list was made to verify any missing persons. All these activities were carried out promptly and efficiently within a short period of time.
