





The results of Myanmar's 2026 Matriculation and Industrial, Agricultural and Livestock Vocational examinations were released nationwide on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Education, 255,228 students sat the matriculation examination out of 268,753 registered candidates. A total of 133,673 students passed, resulting in a national pass rate of 52.37 percent. Mandalay Region recorded the highest pass rate among states and regions at 62.22 percent, followed by West Bago Region with 59.60 percent and Magwe Region with 58.39 percent. Mandalay Region also produced the country's top-scoring student.
The Industrial, Agricultural and Livestock Vocational examinations recorded a national pass rate of 49.70 percent, with 1,672 of 3,364 candidates passing. Shan State achieved the highest vocational examination pass rate at 66.17 percent.
