Indian diaspora welcomes PM Modi amid chants

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with the 'Key to the City of Georgetown' during his visit to Guyana, where he celebrated cultural ties and praised the Indian diaspora's contributions to the nation. From the airport, India’s Prime Minister Modi went to the hotel where he was received by Guyanese President, Prime Ministers of Grenada and Barbados, besides Guyanese cabinet.

 In a special gesture, the Prime Minister was handed over the ‘Key to the City of Georgetown’ by the Mayor of Georgetown, as a testament to the close India-Guyana ties.
