Netanyahu fires defence minister Gallant, appoints Israel Katz as new

Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu on Tuesday dismissed Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and appoints Israel Katz as new Defence minister over a breakdown in trust during the Gaza war against Hamas. Netanyahu said he had made attempts to bridge the differences between him and Gallant.
