Qatar says negotiations, message exchanges ongoing to end regional conflict

Qatar said on Tuesday that Indirect negotiations and message exchanges between the United States and Iran are ongoing through Doha and regional partners. The Foreign Ministry spokesman noted that Qatar continues its mediation efforts to end the Middle East conflict, describing the mediation as a complex and ongoing task.

On the same day, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with visiting Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions. Mediators are pushing for a negotiated settlement to address regional security concerns despite months of previous deadlocks in the conflict.
