Arizona officials are preparing for a potential wave of disinformation ahead of the November 5 presidential election, following the state’s role as a center for conspiracy theories in 2020. To combat voter mistrust, a new vote-counting center in Pinal County features glass walls, allowing residents to observe the counting process firsthand. The facility also includes cameras on ballot boxes with live feeds displayed on large screens. Ballot transport carts have mini-computers to track movements and new trucks equipped with GPS monitor location and speed in real-time.

Status indicators show green for normal operations and red for deviations, while the temperature inside the ballot boxes is also monitored. As Arizona approaches this critical election, officials hope that these measures will foster public confidence in the electoral process, ensuring that every vote is counted transparently and securely.
