Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati calls for an 'immediate ceasefire' during a Paris conference on aid for conflict-stricken Lebanon.

He emphasized the necessity of deploying 8,000 army personnel south of the Litani River, resuming diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict along the Blue Line, and reaching an agreement to ensure long-term and sustainable stability in South Lebanon. Mikati reiterated Lebanon's commitment to peaceful negotiations, saying that "the understanding on the maritime borders is evidence of conflict resolution."
