Soaring Food Prices in Gaza

Food prices are soaring in northern parts of the Gaza Strip. Residents say they cannot afford even the most basic items, and must survive on leftover humanitarian supplies. Street stalls in Gaza City were seen on Wednesday selling canned foods, pasta and oil. But residents say almost nobody has the financial means to buy them. One woman in Gaza City said Israel’s siege has left even canned foods in short supply.
