Argentina hosts conference of defense ministers of the Americas

Argentina hosted defense ministers from 25 countries in the Americas, with drug trafficking, terrorism, and cyber-defense at the forefront of discussions.

During the XVI Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas, held in the western city of Mendoza on Tuesday, the leaders also emphasized their commitment to cooperate in cases of natural disasters as South America has been ravaged by unprecedented drought and wildfires this year.
