







The Ministry of Industry organized a ceremony to provide school stationery to the offspring students of the Pharmaceutical Factory (Insein) on August 17th.
Union Minister Dr Charlie Than stressed the need to make constant learning to keep abreast with the new technologies and challenges. He urged all to strive their best to become reliable individuals who can support the development of the nation. During the ceremony. Over 10 million kyat worth stationery were presented for 598 students.
On separate occasion, Union Minister Dr Charlie Than met with the companies which won the tender bidding for importing raw materials and machinery spare parts for the Pharmaceutical Factories. He urged the companies to carry out the import process within the designated time, assisting their requirement.
In meeting with the department heads of the factory, the Union Minister instructed to pay special attention on every production process of medicines, while striving to be excellent in their work performance.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited Textile and Garment Production Technology Development Center, and discussed for quality control measures, upgrading of machinery capacity and learning modern technologies.
The Union Minister later visited the Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies and met with the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Executive Committee, and members. He discussed worksite safety measures for constructing factories and workshops, emphasizing the importance of engineering approval for infrastructure blueprints.
