China’s C919 lands in HK on first overseas charter flight

China’s homegrown aircraft C919 arrived in Hong Kong from Shanghai for its first commercial charter flight outside the mainland. This was the second time the C919 visited the city since December last year. It is the fifth C919 plane to join the China Eastern Airlines fleet. 120 passengers from Hong Kong were ready to board and experience a C919 charter flight. Their destination was Shanghai, where they would attend an exchange program.
