SIA apologises after fatal turbulence

Singapore Airlines issued an apology on Wednesday after a passenger died of a suspected heart attack and dozens more were injured during severe turbulence on a flight. Singapore Airlines chief executive expressed his deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased passenger.

In a video message, he said he deeply apologize for the trauma experienced by all passengers and crew members on this flight. According to Chief executive, 143 staff and passengers arrived at Singapore Changi Airport from Bangkok.

He added that another 79 passengers and six crew members are still in Bangkok including the injured who are receiving medical treatment, as well as their families and loved ones who were on the flight.
