Banh Mi festival leaves visitors in awe

At the 2024 Banh mi Festival in Viet Nam, spanning two weekends, a notable milestone was reached as 150 banh mi dishes were served, and delivering unexpected culinary delights.

The festival boasted over 130 stalls, drawing a large crowd eager to sample the delicious offerings. Many visitors tried their childhood favorites like a combination of condensed milk banh mi and ice cream sandwiches. Though not originally Vietnamese, banh mi's fusion with local ingredients has cemented its distinctive status.

According to the renowned culinary website Taste Atlas, Vietnamese Banh Mi recently topped the list of the world’s 100 best sandwiches.
