Ponagar festival opens in central province

The Ponagar Festival, the largest traditional folk festival takes place on the holidays of April 30th and May 1st in Viet Nam. The festival is a gathering place for the cultural diversity of the ethnic communities in the South Central and Central Highlands.

The value of heritage is consistently affirmed through this festival. It also serves as a symbol of solidarity. During the festival, people visit Ponagar Tower to pray for peace in the country through unique rituals.
