Bangladesh issues further nationwide heat alert

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) issued country-wide third phase heat wave alert message for the next 72 hours amid severe heat wave in the most part of the country on 28th April.

In the latest heat wave alert the office said the heat wave likely to continue till Tuesday morning. Due to increase moisture incursion, the discomfort may increase, said the message in details. Earlier, the BMD had issued 72 hours heat wave alert message in second phase on 25th April.
