Vietnamese PM meets Dien Bien Phu veterans & young volunteers

Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a meeting in the northern province of Dien Bien on Wednesday.
During the meeting with 139 veteran soldiers, young volunteers and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in 1954, the Prime Minister urged all levels, sectors, and localities to enhance work, including promoting science and technology in managing and identifying information, images, and memorabilia related to martyrs and wounded soldiers.
He also called for their unity, collaboration, and concerted efforts to expedite the province’s sustainable development while safeguarding the country’s northwest border and continuously enhancing the well-being of local residents.
