Malaysia to expand int’l & regional cooperation in world’s drug problem

The Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia on Wednesday said that Malaysia will continue to expand international and regional cooperation in dealing with the world’s drug problem through the Malaysian Anti-Drug Strategic Plan 2021-2025 at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime 67th Commission on Narcotic Drugs in Vienna of Austria.

The Minister also outlined reforms in Malaysia’s approach to treatment and rehabilitation and affirmed Malaysia’s commitment to preventing the diversion of controlled substances for medical and scientific purposes for illicit activities.
