India’s PM Narendra Modi unveils National Highway projects

India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state of Haryana on Monday to launch multiple National Highway projects. The total worth of the projects is about $ 12 billion. These projects will lead to growth of the National Highway network and help in boosting socio-economic growth of India.

Besides other projects, Prime Minister inaugurated the Haryana section of the landmark Dwarka Expressway. This will help improve traffic flow between Delhi and Gurugram on NH-48. It will also provide direct connectivity to the IGI Airport in Delhi and Gurugram Bypass. Prime Minister said that Dwarka Expressway will ease congestion between Delhi and National Capital Region.
