Chinese white dolphins population growth

The latest monitoring results reveal a consistent increase in the number of Chinese white dolphins in Leizhou Bay, off the coast of Zhanjiang, China.

The Chinese white dolphin has a global population of only around 6,000 individuals and is guarded under first-class state protection. The increased presence of the rare wildlife is attributed to ongoing efforts in local marine environmental protection.
