Bali introduces tourist tax for conservation

The Indonesian resort island of Bali has implemented a tourist tax with its official start from 14th February. This initiative aims to contribute to the island’s sustainable development and enhance its tourism infrastructure.

Starting last Wednesday, foreign visitors have to pay about 10 dollars to enter Bali. The tourist tax can be paid online or at airport counters on the island.
