Thai police shut down multiple illegal gambling operations

Cyber Police in Thailand have shut down two online gambling networks and confiscated millions of baht in illicit funds during a recent crackdown in three provinces including Bangkok, the northern province of Surin and the southern province of Surat Thani.
The operation on Wednesday, carried out by the Technology Crime Suppression Division of the Royal Thai Police, seized over $499,000 in cash and the arrest of 26 individuals tied to gambling websites.
