Australia congratulates Indonesia on 'successful conduct' of elections

In Indonesia's presidential election, Former General Prabowo Subianto claimed victory on Wednesday as preliminary results put him well ahead of his two rivals to lead Southeast Asia's biggest economy.

Australian Foreign Minister congratulated Indonesia on holding its presidential elections, and said the government is looking forward to "working closely" with the next president after his inauguration.
