Indonesian President Joko Widodo casts his vote in Jakarta

Indonesian President Joko Widodo cast his vote at the Gambir polling station in Jakarta on Wednesday morning along with his wife, Iriana Joko Widodo.

The two showed their purple fingers to the press, indicating that they have completed their voting. Three presidential candidates have also voted at polling stations closest to their respective homes. More than 204 million registered voters from 38 provinces will cast ballots in the general elections to choose president and vice president as well as members of national and regional parliaments.
