The first Lunar New Year fireworks display

The 23-minute Lunar New Year fireworks display started at 8 p.m. on Sunday in Hong Kong. The show returned for the first time since 2019. The fireworks show treated onlookers to eight thematic scenes.

The first scene is called “The Year of the Dragon.” The second scene is “Happy New Year.” Multiple fireworks shaped like the number 8 appeared over the Victoria Harbor, wishing people good fortune in the coming year.
