3rd Meeting of the Economic Working Group between the U.S. and China

The China-U.S. economic working group held its third meeting in Beijing from 5th to 6th February, China's Ministry of Finance said in a statement on Tuesday.

The meeting was co-chaired by Chinese vice Minister of Finance Liao Min and U.S. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Jay Shambaugh. The two sides opened discussions with an exchange of views on domestic macroeconomic outlooks. They also discussed on cooperating on shared challenges such as debt issues in low-income and emerging economies. The meetings concluded with both sides agreeing to meet again in April.
