Chinese FM holds talks with Norwegian counterpart

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with his Norwegian counterpart, who is on an official visit to China from Monday to Wednesday.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Norway, Wangsaid that China appreciates the Norwegian government’s objective, rational, and friendly view towards China’s development and its adherence to the one-China principle.

The two sides should also deepen practical cooperation and strengthen multilateral coordination, said Wang. Norwegian counterpart said that the Norwegian side firmly follows the one-China policy, supports free trade, and sticks to openness and cooperation.
