E-Visas popular among international visitors

The Immigration Department in Viet Nam has issued over 1.1 million electronic visas in the past 6 months, with more than 90% being for tourism purposes.

Citizens of certain countries and territories can apply for multiple-entry electronic visas, which are valid for up to 90 days and allow for a temporary stay period of 45 days for foreigners entering under visa exemption status.

This action also assists travel and tourism companies in diversifying tour routes, providing customers with more choices. Additionally, the application process for an electronic visa is greatly supported by technology.
